TRAMEX DIGITAL NON CONTACT METER
Code: MRH
The MRH is a digital display version of the Tramex Moisture Encounter MEP hand-held electronic impedance moisture meter. It operates on the principle of non-destructive impedance measurement.
Parallel co-planar electrodes are mounted on the base, which during operation transmit a low-frequency electronic signal into material under test.
To carry out moisture tests simply press the MRH firmly against the surface being tested and take a reading. There’s no surface damage and no waiting.
The MRH has 5 different measurement scales:
Wood, Roofing, Masonry, Drywall and Laminate.
The MRH measures percentage moisture in wood when using the Wood Scale. All other scales and readings are comparative.
Industry users..
Wood, Flooring, Inspection/Surveying.
Can be used on.. Wood, Plaster / Brick, Tiles, Plasterboard (drywall).
Main Features
A pocket size non-destructive digital display moisture meter for measuring the % of moisture content in wood, with comparative readings in other building materials. It incorporates a switchable specific gravity adjustment for most wood species, plus it provides relative readings deep into most building materials. such as Drywall, Roofing, Brick, Ceramic tile etc.

The MRH also has the additional option of a Hygrometer mode to measure Relative Humidity, Temperature, Dew Point Temperature and Grains/lb. by simply plugging in an optional reusable Tramex Relative Humidity Probe to measure ambient conditions or for performing In Situ (ASTM F2170) or RH Hood (ASTM F2420, BS 5325:2001 & BS 8203:2001)methods. Also available in Kit form.
